Our Beliefs
- We believe that there is
only one God and that Jesus Christ is his only begotten son and through
Jesus God has begotten us on the basis of his love for mankind.
- We believe in the Trinity of
God the father, Jesus Christ his son and the Holy Spirit
- We believe that Jesus Christ
died for the salvation of the world and that only those who believe with
their heart and confess this with their mouths become saved.
- We believe that Jesus Christ
is the only way to the true and living God.
- We believe that all the word
of God as contained in the Bible was inspired by the Holy Spirit and are
infallible.
- We believe that Salvation is
by Grace and that grace enables the believer to live a godly life in keeping
with the word of God.
- We believe that the essence
of man is to glorify God and that the abilities, endowments,
positions and possessions of man are to help him fulfil this purpose.
- We believe that the Holy
Spirit is given to man evidenced by speaking in tongue to facilitate man’s
ability to relate with God and to fulfil his purpose in God.
- We believe that God delights
in the gathering of his people starting from the family through to
the Church of God as his larger family.
- We believe that there is going
to be the resurrection of the dead to face a certain judgement of
God, that Jesus Christ will return and that heaven and the earth will pass
away.
- We believe in the sanctity
of life, holiness and call to separation for the purpose of pleasing God.
We also believe that God answers prayers resulting in healing, various
forms of blessings and alteration to the natural course of events in human
experience.
- We believe in telling others
about the true and living God through our words, actions and our
lifestyles.
