Our Vision

A large family of Spirit filled, Word living balanced disciples of Jesus Christ, each equipped to teach and disciple their immediate neighborhood. An effective, inclusive, informal, mobile home cell program that is readily accessible to all within 5Kms radius of their abode. A resourceful and practical Christian teaching that support individuals to reach their God-given potential. Communicating hope to the needy and disadvantaged and building a better community through Word empowered healthy enduring family units.

Our Beliefs

  1. We believe that there is only one God and that Jesus Christ is his only begotten son and through Jesus God has begotten us on the basis of his love for mankind.
  2. We believe in the Trinity of God the father, Jesus Christ his son and the Holy Spirit
  3. We believe that Jesus Christ died for the salvation of the world and that only those who believe with their heart and confess this with their mouths become saved.
  4. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to the true and living God.
  5. We believe that all the word of God as contained in the Bible was inspired by the Holy Spirit and are infallible.
  6. We believe that Salvation is by Grace and that grace enables the believer to live a godly life in keeping with the word of God.
  7. We believe that the essence of man is to glorify God and that the abilities,  endowments, positions and possessions of man are to help him fulfil this purpose.
  8. We believe that the Holy Spirit is given to man evidenced by speaking in tongue to facilitate man’s ability to relate with God and to fulfil his purpose in God.
  9. We believe that God delights in the gathering of his people starting from the family  through to the Church of God as his larger family.
  10. We believe that there is going to be the resurrection of the dead to face a certain judgement of God, that Jesus Christ will return and that heaven and the earth will pass away.
  11. We believe in the sanctity of life, holiness and call to separation for the purpose of pleasing God. We also believe that God answers prayers resulting in healing, various forms of blessings and alteration to the natural course of events in human experience.
  12. We believe in telling others about the true and living God through our words, actions and our lifestyles.

Pst. (Dr) John D. Adegboye

Head Pastor (CRAU)

Pst. John Adegboye had his first encounter with the Holy Spirit in 1982. God signalled the direction He wanted his life to take but he kept resisting as a young man. The hour came in October 1991 when he finally yielded to the Lord Jesus to follow Him. After an initial shaky start he decided to dive into serving God without looking back. Ps John Adegboye with the late Ps Reginald Mba started the first Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Perth Western Australia in 2000 which arguably is the first RCCG Church in Australia. He was ordained by Pastor E A Adeboye in March 2001. He was the senior pastor of the RCCG Church from July 2001 to July 2004. He started a journey that culminated in the Ministry that is now called Christ Redemption Assembly Universal (CRAU) in 2005. He has been the senior Pastor in Charge of the this Church to the glory of God. He completed training as a medical doctor from the University of Ilorin Medical College in 1988. He proceeded to do post graduate training in Psychiatry at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Ilorin, which he completed in 1998. He was also working as an associate lecturer at the University of Ilorin during the same period. He is a Fellow West African College of Physicians in Psychiatry. He did further postgraduate training through the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrist between 1999 to 2004 to become a fellow of the college in 2004. He is currently in private practice as a consultant psychiatrist. He is formerly the Medical Director Blackwood River Clinic. And he is currently the Medical Director of Abbotsford Private Hospital in Perth, Western Australia. He has combined secular vocation with being in Ministry for over 20 years. He is the pastor in charge of Christ Redemption Assembly Universal in Perth Australia. He has been married to a lovely woman, Esther Adegboye in the last 32 years. She is by training, a Nurse and a Midwife. She gave up her job to join her husband in building both the home and Church ministries. They are blessed with 3 adult children all in their late 20s He has special interest in reading, giving talks to youths and families to promote God’s kingdom and to see destinies fulfilled. He loves lending hands in advocacy for the those struggling in life.
